Introducing Tornado of Sews

Friday, 18 June 2021

I'm a big believer in supporting small businesses, especially during these trying times, and even more so when they happen to be run by an absolute babe! Tornado of Sews is my bestie Fal's new business, she makes incredible mixed media embroidery, sells prints and bookmarks of her original art, and is available for commissions too! I've bought an adorable tentacle piece, and also commissioned a family inspired hoop as a present for my parents, and can't recommend them enough.

Also, shout out to any Megadeth fans who get the reference!

Like me, Fal is a huge horror fan, so there are some amazing horror inspired pieces in her store. From Carrie, to awesome found footage movie Creep, to Candy Man, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and even cult classic Repo! The Genetic Opera, there is something any horror fan will love. I'm still gutted I missed out on her beautiful Midsommar piece and hope she brings it back again.

As well as horror movie pieces, there is also general spookiness abound, with cute pumpkins, waving tentacles, creepy scarecrows and more.

Most recently Tornado of Sews expanded into prints and bookmarks, and I am completely obsessed with this Wendigo bookmark in particular, what a cute spooky boi!

As luck would have it, they have just announced a new giveaway on their Instagram, so check that out below and enter!

If you want to see more, I'm going to post all of their social media links as well as their Etsy shop, so please check them out!

Much love,

With Christmas around the corner, many stores are offering seasonal discounts that make purchasing a second pair tempting. Highly recommend for holiday styling and gifting.
