A July Mini Haul

This month I sold my little Renault Clio that was my first ever car after getting a new car a few months ago, so I treated myself and Stu to a couple of new things I thought I'd share! The rest went into my savings, which will inevitably be spent on more tattoos I'm sure.

Me and Stu both totally adore BMM and wear all our rings every day. They are so sturdy and beautiful that we just can't resist. In this photo Stu is also wearing the chunky tooth ring which is no longer available, and on one finger I'm stacking up the tiny moon ring which is also no longer available, a classic BMM stack engraved with dothraki and the lonely bone ring.

New Look Tie Waist Dress

I've never owned a shirt dress before, but after seeing the totally gorgeous Steph of Nerdabouttown.com looking so babely in this blog post in a shirt dress, I had to get one! Her dress is also from New Look, they seem to be rocking the shirt dress this summer! I sized up to get a more over sized look as I think in this sort of style it can really work. It's a bit more cleavage flashing than I usually wear, but I love it.

Sugar & Vice Skull Necklace £18 - now only available in a slightly different colour version

Technically this isn't new, I've had it for a little while, but I've rediscovered it and have been wearing it so much lately. I just love it, and and want the other version too!

Primark red and black fringed cover up £6 on sale

I fell totally in love with this as soon as I glimpsed it in my local Primark. I bought it in a large and was thrilled to be able to wear it comfortably. My local Primark usually own stocks up to a 14 so this was a nice surprise. I love fringing everything, and the red, black and white pattern is so cute.

Birthday Party Ensemble

My Dad was 50 at the end of September, oh my glob! It meant 2 birthday parties and he got totally spoilt :) Awesome! For the 2nd of his birthday parties, the first was for family, the second for friends (I went to both for the free food) I remembered to take outfit photos.

I wasn't dressed up until it was dark, so once again my photos are on the interesting side!

I love this dress, the pleather cross under the bust makes what might be a really 'cutesy' type of baby doll dress into something a bit more me. It also has pleather shoulder straps.

I went for the biggest hair possible and was very pleased. My hair is naturally wavy, but not always the most compliant! I washed my hair, and split it into sections and twisted them, then twisting them into knots. I left it to dry naturally as much as I could, then when it was nearly dry, tipped my head upside down, and blow dried it as I untwisted them to get volume into the roots as well, then a little hairspray, and success!

I love a cute dress with converses or chunky boots. I'm not one for heels and I think they look so cute paired together.

I'm hoping my social life will calm down a little now!

An Evening Do

Stu and myself were recently invited to the wedding evening do of a work colleague of his. I slightly panicked outfit wise because I realised that I have never actually been to a wedding as an adult that I haven't been photographing! So I tried on about 10 dresses before I decided what to wear. I also wanted to do something different with my hair for once so decided something cute and vintage was a must, so victory rolls!

The vicotry rolls only took me about 18 attempts to get roughly even haha. One always goes perfect, it's a rule I am sure!

I have no idea what my face is doing.

Black Converse Hi-Tops

I love this dress. It's rare for a skater dress to be long enough for me, but this one is so cute, and comfy, and I really like the neckline too. I got a bit iffy about wearing black to a wedding, so went for the tartan leggings to brighten it up, and the kimono for more colour as well. I LOVE this kimono so much. Black Dusk sell through ASOS Marketplace and they have so much beautiful goodness. It was dark by the time I was ready so apologies for the full outfit photo not being the best.

The wedding night do was lovely fun, and it was nice to get to meet Mel and Jon, so many congrats! They had a photo booth, which you better believe I dragged Stu into!

Stu's amazing suit jacket is from Oppo Suits and is part of a full suit, but he opted for just the jacket. I love it so much. They are also available on Amazon and often go on sale, so keep an eye out, this one was a bargain!
