Polly Grace

I love discovering new companies who make wonderful plus size clothing, and I was thrilled when Polly Grace emailed me to introduce themselves. They are a brand new company, and they have such beautiful clothes! They asked if I would like to try out some of their clothes, and I leapt at the chance. I'm going to be featuring those items in a series of blog posts with different ways to style them. I originally planned to do a haul, but actually, I think this is much more fun and shows how versatile their clothing is.

Penny Shirt in pale pink £22*

This gorgeous slightly sheer shirt was an easy choice. It's totally unlike anything I currently own, I love the drapey look of it, and I thought it would be easy to dress up in different ways. I went for a more rocky look with a striped tube skirt underneath, leggings, converses, a pleather jacket, and a skeleton hand necklace from Sugar & Vice. The pale pink contrasted to make this a girly but rock and roll look. I got so many compliments on this shirt!

It's nice and lightweight, longer at the back, and just sheer enough to be sexy, without being too revealing. It's also available in white, and a gorgeous bright blue that I almost picked. This could be paired with jeggings or jeans for a more casual look, with a belt, but could easily be glammed up with heels, shiny leggings and lots of jewellery.

I'll be posting more about the beautiful clothing they sent me shortly,

Much love,
Kitty xxxxx

I recently went to see Surreal Panther at Yardbirds (although sadly my chronic pain was playing up so I didn't actually get to see them play). I did however get to see Stop, Stop! Stop, Stop were absolutely amazing! Amazing glam rock fun and they obviously had so much fun as well. I think I saw the most metal thing I will ever see in the form of Jacob from Stop, Stop climbing on top of a table playing the Pink Panther theme tune on his bass. Metal.

I mean seriously, look how glam and pretty they are. They are the most fun band I have seen in forever and I would love to see them again!

The outfit was a tough choice for me. I've been having really bad problems with my eczema lately and really wanted to be covered. Like, from my ankles to my wrists. Which in somewhere like Yardbirds, which is notoriously warm all year round, I would have fainted.

Dress - ASOS Curve
Shirt - ASOS Curve
Leggings - ASOS Curve (no longer available)
Boots - Doc Martens

Off the shoulder dress means no double layer on my shoulders, and that shirt is super soft and breathable, so it wasn't too much to wear and be covered. I convinced myself to roll my sleeves up because that just about covered my eczema.

Eye makeup - Sugarpill
Lipstick - Barry M

Isn't my necklace so cute?! Stu got me it for my birthday last year and I love it. I felt all kinds of country in this outfit and that is always a good thing by me!

Much love,
Kitty xxxxxx
