BGP Magazine

I am so excited to be able to share that I am in the newest issue of BGP Magazine! They have published a huge spread of my plus size collaboration photoshoot with the gorgeous Mary Burgers and so talented Charlotte Hatt.

There are so many wonderful babes in this issue, including Betty Pamper, Kat Henry, Holly of Pretty Big Butterflies, Toodaloo Katie, Amanda Apparel, Debz Aiken, Lucia of ucantwearthat, Hayley of Curves n Curls, Michaela of Cardifforniagurl and so many more!

I am so proud to see this photoshoot being published in a plus size magazine. I would love to do more work like this, with plus size models, and plus size designs! I am starting to book for 2016 so please do get in touch if you want to work together.

Boneyard Belle III

I met Boneyard Belle at my old job, and essentially harassed her into shooting with me, because her face and style was just so inspiring me. We recently had our third shoot together and I am so pleased with the results! Belle is always eager to bring ideas with her which makes me a happy lady!

Belle had an awesome idea for the lighting with these, and combined with the PVC it worked so well!

Goths can do high glamour too!

I was mega impressed with her waterproof eyebrows.

My favourite concept of the day, I love the mix of goth and beauty.

Belle wanted to look like she was in Underworld.. I think we were successful!

Hopefully it won't be long for shoot 4!

Photoshoots are always interesting with cats about!

Mary Burgers II

Shooting with Mary Burgers is always a dream. A fellow plus size blogger, she really gets being body positive and embraces everything about herself that makes her awesome. Which you know, is everything.

Mary had the awesome idea to shoot a really androgynous look. You see a lot of thin androgyny in fashion, but never chubby or fat, so she wanted to show a different side and I think we totally nailed it. Dat facial expression!

The whole day we were shooting, the weather was miserable. It absolutely chucked it down! We had an idea for a cute fashion set in some fields near where I live, and were desperate for a break in the rain. And we got one, for about 5 minutes, and the moment we got back in the car the sky opened and it thundered! So lucky to get a few minutes for these shots.

Mary also had this amazing rococo dress she found at a charity shop. The colours perfectly matched the flowery cat ears I had, so we paired them together with a pale pink back drop and doll face goodness happened!

Mary moves back to the US this summer and we are determined to get to work together again before she goes! We must! She's such a genuinely lovely creature and I'll be sad to see her leave.

This set was something super different for me. I don't really shoot period outfits, but when I saw the Royalty theme for both Gothesque and Zivity I knew Alivya would be come up with an incredible idea for it, and she did! How amazing is that crown? Handmade by Alivya. Just wow.
