Birthday Awesomeness!

I turned 27 on 12th February and had the most wonderful day! Both Stu and I had the day off, so we had a lazy day watching The Shield in bed (Ashen and the cats joined us), then in the evening went for a meal with my family. Perfect! My family really spoilt me with some incredible gifts, so I wanted to share some of them.

My Mum got me a whole bunch of Rosa Pietsch's jewellery from Katze Shop. LOVE!

A lot of Rosa's pieces are one offs so are no longer available in her store, but she has all sorts of amazing jewellery and similar necklaces available.

I picked these all out with my Mum, Rosa noticed that I'm a fan of black and silver, always!

As a huge fan of The Serpent's Club, I was so excited when I opened a present from my parents and saw that familiar packaging, and found Siren inside!

It is so gorgeous, and so well made. Amethyst is my birthstone, so this is perfect for me.

My Mum ordered during a flash sale The Serpent's Club had, and got a cluster ring as part of the order too!

Brass Bison Jewellery Holder

Stu and I are currently in the process of reorganising our bedroom, and I desperately needed more room to store my jewellery, my Nanna got this incredible skull holder for me!

Stu's Mum and Step-Dad got me this beautiful photo frame, I love the shell detailing so much, it's gorgeous. I'm currently deciding what photo to get printed in it.

Sugar & Vice Antler Necklace

My brother and his girlfriend got me some Sugar & Vice, always an ace idea with me! Sugar & Vice have always put sweeties in their orders and now have their own branded rock, so cute!

Both sets of my Grandparents, and my Auntie and Uncle gave me money, it'll be going towards a new tattoo and some bits for the house.

And finally, the gorgeous butterfly necklace Stu got me to match my engagement ring

December and January Favourites

I didn't do a December favourites because I posted about what I got for Christmas, so instead this month I'm combining December and January into one!

So I figured I should start with the big one... I got a new car! A Peugeot 207. My Mum got a new car, so I am buying this car off her. I've only ever had Renault Clio's, and I've been driving the same one since 2007 when I bought it, so a new car is super exciting! I can't wait for the summer so I can cruise around with the roof down.

On Christmas Day Sugar & Vice ran a sale and I could not resist placing a sneaky order. I had been eyeing up this necklace since the Abstract Collection launched and I had to have it. I feel like Khaleesi in it!

Barry M Nail Varnish

Please excuse my terrible paint job, and instead admire the beautiful sparkly goodness of this nail varnish. I couldn't find it on their website, but I got it in a Boots. I love it so! It definitely needs tipping properly and a top coat because it does very easily chip, but it's so gorgeous it's worth the extra effort.

I got this necklace for Christmas from my Auntie. I've been drooling over it for so long, and it is so so pretty. I love all things Autumn and this is stunning. I kind of want all the Sugar & Vice autumn products.

Katze Shop Mini Scalloped Circle Necklace £12

I looooove Katze Shop (also known as Rosa Pietsch). My Mum has ordered me a few bits from her for my birthday this month and Rosa was a sweetie and put this extra necklace in for me. It's gorgeous. The silver flakes in the resin are stunning, and the detail is amazing.

Black and White striped oversize cardigan £12 from Asda

I kind of fell in love with this as soon as I saw it. I love oversized cosy stuff, and I dig monochrome. It's really soft, the sleeves have little turn ups and for £12 it was a bargain I had to have.

Sugar & Vice Skeleton Hand Necklace £22

I got this necklace on the longest length chain and I am so glad I did. It's quickly become my favourite necklace, and I get so many compliments on it! Love, love, love.

This is the outfit I wore on Boxing Day :) We went to Stu's Mums house for a second Christmas dinner and to tell everyone we were engaged, so I wanted something cute but not too dressy! My Mum got me these red jeans for Christmas and I LOVE them. I love the colour and they are really soft. My Nanna got me the top, it was a really wide neck, and quite low, perfect for a statement necklace. My Auntie bought me the amazing Rosa Pietsch necklace. It is stunning, and the laser cutting with the lunar cycle is amazing. Be sure to check out her whole store! She has a January sale on with lots of one offs and reductions.

ASOS Curve jeans fit are super hit and miss, so take advantage of the free returns. I have pairs in multiple sizes, and pairs I have ordered I couldn't even get my feet through the foot holes at the bottom! So ladies with larger feet be warned.
