A Galaxy Far, Far Away with CowCow*

Sunday 9 October 2016

During my hunt for beautiful galaxy print goodies that resulted in the discover of this skirt on CowCow, I couldn't resist further ogling and stumbled upon this beauty. I've been making a conscious effort to expand the colours in my wardrobe and this luscious green colour really caught my eye. Green is my new favourite!

This is the Green Galaxy Skater Dress* and it retails for $50.99. It's a traditional skater skirt style with a lovely full skirt. It's made of a spandex type material that is so comfy to wear. The material means it isn't too hot in the summer, and isn't too cool in the autumn, perfect! You can also get this dress in the short sleeved skater dress style if cap sleeves are more your pace.

I got this in my usual style and it fits great. It sits just above my knee which I am more than happy about (I'm 5ft 11 for reference). The waist section doesn't sit on my waist, but this style of dress never does because of my height, instead it flares out from about an inch under my bust which looks just as cute.

The print is just everything. The mixture of greens and blacks and browns with lighter flashes makes it ideal to add to my wardrobe now it's autumn. While this has no sleeves, you can easily pop a long sleeve tshirt underneath it to keep it wearable all year round. I paired it with my trusty pleather jacket, leggings with a mesh side panel and converses. Classic Kitty! I can never resist.

As with all the apparel at CowCow, you can customise and design your own prints! You can find out how to find free to use images here! Be careful with usage rights and make sure they are available for use. I'm seriously tempted to have some of my nature photography made into a badass dress. You can sell your own designs through CowCow, and having a store with them is free! There are literally thousands of ready made prints to choose from, so if you have an idea just search for it and you can almost guarantee they have something in that theme.

Unlike their Amazon store, apparel on the CowCow website is printed and made just for you when you order it. Their Amazon store is full of ready made and ready to go items, but their website is where the real magic happens. It has so many different styles and designs, and all sorts of products and prints you can't get through their Amazon store. The products on their website are pricier than their Amazon, but that's because the prints are designed by independent artists who are also being paid for their artwork. So when you buy from the CowCow website, you are also supporting artists!

My CowCow addiction is never ending at this point. The dresses in particular are like Pokemon, I gotta wear 'em all!

Much love,
Kitty xxx

  3. Oh those colours - loving the big swishy skirt too! I also get that undercuts faux waist thing going on - having boobs and being tall do not go well together!
