We've had some work done on our house recently and while we've been having it done, my parents very kindly let us stay at their house. It made the disruption so much easier, especially for the dog, and we really appreciated it! We wanted to thank them and decided that sending them flowers at their work (they work together) would be a really lovely surprise, because who doesn't love surprise flowers?
After asking who people recommended to use to send flowers I opted to try out Prestige Flowers as I liked their range and their offers. As spring is coming, pretty pinks and pastels were my pick to help brighten up those dreary nights.
They came with a thank you card with your message in, and also some truffles (which I couldn't photograph as my parents ate them immediately!). They also came with the vase they are pictured in which is always handy, I don't know about anyone else, but I never have a vase when someone gives me flowers.
I picked the delivery date to send them to their work, and they arrived at 7:30am... luckily for me someone was there to sign for them! I think that's a bit early for deliveries personally, but they arrived safely and well packaged in a tall box with air holes.
In a final twist, it turns out that Prestige Flowers do a daily prize in which the 100th order of the day is refunded their money and their order is free.... well I just happened to be order 100! It really made me laugh, my Mum thought it was so funny when I told her too.
Everyone loves surprise flowers, and this was such a fun way to do it rather than by bringing them myself.
