Adult Colouring Books : The Flower Year by Leila Duly Review*

Tuesday 7 March 2017

Adult colourings books became a big trend in 2016 and that trend shows no sign of going anywhere. I've had a few different ones now, and I really like the super detailed ones, they take so much concentration that they really help your mind forget everything else you might be thinking about, and helps you relax.

The lovely folks at Laurence King Publishing recently sent me Leila Duly's newest book, 'The Flower Year'*. I had Leila Duly's first book before and it was beautiful, but this, this is something else.

This is a hard back book, beautifully bound, in a pale pink with gold foil lettering on the front. If someone in your life likes colouring books, this would be a truly lovely gift. It feels so expensive and luxurious.

Leila Duly is known for her flowers, and this book features every month of the year split up by flowers. It's such a lovely concept!

The sketches are heavily detailed and I'd recommend fine pencils for colouring this in. This book will take so many hours to colour in completely, for £9.99 this really is an absolute bargain! It even features a ribbon bookmark to keep your place.

This is the sort of colouring book you could proudly leave on your coffee table for everyone to see, it's genuinely lovely and showcases Leila Duly's work in a wonderful way.

Much love,
Kitty xxxx

  4. While not everyone has a serious and recurring problem with adult acne, almost everyone has at least an occasional bump or two crop up, usually at the worst possible moment.videox
