Girls, Girls, Girls Charity Event with Today I'm Me

Tuesday 3 November 2015

This weekend I went along to the Girls, Girls, Girls charity fashion event held at The Humber Royal to raise money for St Andrew's Hospice. I went along as the guest of Today I'm Me and Two Souls Boutique, a lovely shop in Louth and a fantastic handbag company. The ladies from Two Souls were absolutely wonderful to chat to, thanks for inviting me!

I spent a good while deciding what to wear, and ended up opting for a mixture of pink and black. It might be winter, but I love bright colours. I ended up accidentally matching the event colours too!

There was a lot of independent companies with stalls at the event, which was wonderful to see. I found a lot of stores I plan to order bits from for Christmas presents!

The Little Shop of Chocolates was a great find! Tasty chocolates in some gorgeous flavours, and such cute shapes too.

Another favourite was the House of Mouse Dog & Cat Emporium. I totally spoil my furbabies, and I particularly fell in love with this shark toy for Ashen, I think he totally needs it for Christmas! They had a great range of accessories and toys for cats and dogs, you should definitely check them out.

Blame it on the Booth had a photobooth, so of course I had to jump in it and be cute. I'm looking for a photobooth for our wedding next year so I had to give it a go and enquire!

Next up were the fashion shows. It was lovely seeing a mixture of sizes and ages on the catwalk, some of the girls obviously had a lot of fun which made it a lot of fun to watch! Here are some of my favourite looks and moments on the cat walk.

I loved this ombre clutch, that handle is brilliant! I never use clutch bags, because I have a tendency to forget I'm holding them and drop them. Does anyone else do that? It can't just be me! So this one would work wonderfully for me.

Prom dresses are a bit more glam than when I had my prom 11 years ago! I love that this model wore her glasses, she rocked it. And what a babe!

Look at all that sparkle!

It was a really lovely event, with a fantastic raffle. I hope they managed to raise a brilliant amount! It is always good to see local companies together to support each other, and I hope this event happens again next year as well. I loved that it was almost entirely small, independent local business. I wish more people would buy locally and support small business, and this event really promoted that.

Much love,
Kitty xxxx
